Prepress is a critical phase in the printing process that involves preparing digital files for print. This stage includes tasks such as preflighting and proofing, as well as color correction, image editing, or other alterations when needed, and culminates in creating printing plates for offset jobs. Prepress ensures that all elements of your print project are correctly formatted and optimized for the chosen printing method and layout.

CLOUD SERVICES

MIGU provides digital space to customers through our
internal servers and Internet Service Providers. Our FTP
(File Transfer Protocol) site ensures a secure and fast portal for uploading files. In return, MIGU uses the same portal to supply large PDF proof files that cannot be emailed.

Offset Printing

@MIGU we offer the expertise of skilled craftsmen in the art of print. We run a variety of inks and coatings on our 40″ sheet-fed presses and print on an assortment of substrates. Let’s make a splash together!

Offset printing is a widely used technique where the inked image is transferred (or “offset”) from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the printing surface. This method is popular for producing high-quality, consistent prints at high volumes, making it ideal for magazines, brochures, and other mass-produced materials.

We have a 28” x 40” Heidelberg CX-102 Six-color plus Aqueous coater, with Axis Control Color System, and we can print on board up to 40pt.

Digital Printing

@MIGU we offer the very best in digital print with our Xerox iGen5, which boasts 5th color technology, plus variable data capabilities to add a personal touch. When speed is what you need!

Digital printing is highly efficient for short-run jobs and on-demand printing, offering quick turnaround times and the ability to easily make updates or changes on the next run. Combined with variable data software, digital print allows for personalized print runs on a variety of items.

Our Xerox iGen5 color digital press can run up to 16pt board in sheet size of 14.33 x 26 (live area 14 x 25.5). We also have the Canon VP120 black and white digital press.

Fulfillment in the printing industry can include a variety of tasks, usually relegated to our handwork department. Tasks can range from collating printed pieces into sets, to hand assembling intricate folding jobs that can’t be automated, to creating kitted packages of various materials (print and non-print alike), to preparing pick-and-pack drop shipments from components in one off-print projects or from inventoried items that we store. Our handwork team has an acute focus on attention to detail, handling your project with care.

Shipping & Delivery

@MIGU we offer delivery services with a personal touch. Our drivers ensure a smooth, safe, and on-time delivery. We go the extra mile, delivering service with a smile!

Deliveries are a crucial aspect of the overall workflow in the printing industry, ensuring that printed materials reach their intended destinations promptly and in excellent condition. We have a full-time driver on staff, making deliveries in our 2022 Ford Transit-350 van. We also partner with a courier service for larger local deliveries when needed, and also ship via LTL for large shipments going to farther locales. We have daily pickups with UPS and FedEx, with both Ground and Express services, as well, and can ship third party on your account if desired.
